Steel Impeller Casting Lost Wax Casting For Transmission Equipment

This Steel Impeller is a core rotational and power-transmitting component designed for transmission equipment, hydraulic coupling systems, centrifugal drive assemblies, and industrial power transmission rotating elements. It is manufactured by our in-house Investment Casting (Lost Wax) + CNC precision machining process to achieve high strength, precise blade geometry, and reliable dynamic balance. The use of alloy cast steel ZG42CrMo provides an excellent balance of high tensile strength (≥700 MPa after heat treatment), superior wear resistance under high-speed rotation, and excellent fatigue resistance under cyclic centrifugal loading.

Matech's one-stop approach, covering wax pattern making, investment casting, quenching & tempering heat treatment, CNC machining (blade profiles, hub bore, keyway, balancing surfaces), shot blasting surface treatment, dynamic balance testing, dimensional inspection, and engineered packing, ensures this impeller offers excellent blade profile accuracy, tight dimensional tolerances on hub bore and mounting interfaces, and a ready-to-install finish — performing reliably in demanding transmission and rotating equipment applications.

    Our Advantages

    Technical Advantages

Steel Impeller Casting Lost Wax Casting For Transmission Equipment 13 Full In-House Manufacturing

Wax pattern shop, investment casting line, CNC machining workshop, heat treatment furnaces, surface treatment, and inspection lab — all centralized under one roof. No outsourcing. From molten steel to finished and balanced part, we maintain full control over lead time, quality consistency, and batch traceability.

Steel Impeller Casting Lost Wax Casting For Transmission Equipment 14 Design for Manufacturability (DFM) Support

Before wax pattern production begins, we provide a detailed DFM report covering solidification behavior, shrinkage analysis, gating & riser design, and machining allowance optimization. For investment cast impellers like this ZG42CrMo component, we focus on blade thickness uniformity, core strength for internal hub bores, and balanced riser placement to ensure sound metal throughout all blade roots.

Steel Impeller Casting Lost Wax Casting For Transmission Equipment 15  Expertise in Complex Steel Castings

We specialize in precision steel castings with complex blade geometries and fine surface detail — such as impellers, rotors, turbine components, and pump vanes. Our investment casting process delivers superior surface finish (Ra 6.3µm achievable), tight dimensional tolerances (CT5-CT7), and the ability to form intricate blade profiles with minimal machining allowance. We pour a full range of cast steels — ZG42CrMo, ZG45, ZG35CrMo, stainless steel, and alloy steel — with in-house heat treatment to tailor strength, hardness, and wear resistance to your specification.

    Material Advantages

Steel Impeller Casting Lost Wax Casting For Transmission Equipment 20 Strict Raw Material & Melt Control

We charge carefully sorted steel scrap and certified ferroalloys (FeCr, FeMo, FeSi, FeMn) into our electric induction furnaces. Every heat is chemically analyzed by spectrometer before tapping, with real-time adjustments to carbon, chromium, molybdenum, and other alloying elements. Deoxidation practices ensure clean steel with low inclusion content — critical for maintaining consistent ZG42CrMo mechanical properties in rotating components.

Steel Impeller Casting Lost Wax Casting For Transmission Equipment 21 Full Heat Traceability

Every production batch is identified by a unique heat number. Chemical composition reports, mechanical test records (tensile strength, yield strength, elongation, hardness, impact toughness), and heat treatment charts (quenching & tempering curves) are compiled into a traceable dossier — from furnace charge to finished impeller.

Steel Impeller Casting Lost Wax Casting For Transmission Equipment 22 Broad Grade Coverage

We pour a comprehensive range of cast steels — carbon steel (ZG35/ZG45/ZG55), low-alloy steel (ZG42CrMo/ZG35CrMo), stainless steel (304/316/CF8/CF8M), and duplex stainless steel. Whether your application demands wear resistance for high-speed rotation, fatigue strength for cyclic loading, or corrosion resistance for aggressive media, we match the grade and heat treatment to your requirements.
