Steel Mill Chains
Steel Mill Chains are engineered for high-temperature, heavy-duty and dusty conditions. Made of high-strength alloy steel, they feature excellent wear resistance, impact resistance and heat resistance. With stable structure, high tensile strength and smooth operation, they support continuous conveying. Long service life, easy maintenance, high conveying efficiency and reduced downtime make them ideal for long-term stable use in steelmaking, rolling and casting under harsh working conditions.

| Chain Length | Any continuous length (by meter or link section) | Ready for direct installation without additional cutting |
| Chain Width | Customized inner/outer width | Fits guide rails, sprocket grooves, and conveying conditions |
| Attachment Type | -Scrapers/baffles: Steel, wear-resistant, raised, special-shaped; -Buckets: Welded, stamped, thickened; -Side guards: Side/central guards; Or custom designs per request; |
- For conveying sinter, coke, ore, and waste residue; - Vertical lifting of ore, powder, steel slag, and sinter material; - Prevents material spillage, suitable for high-temperature bulk material conveying; |
| Heavy-Duty Reinforced Structure | Thickened link plates, enlarged pins, thickened bushings | Adapted to high-impact and continuous heavy-load conditions in the steel industry |
MATECH have established a full-process production and inspection line for timber conveyor chains.Laser cutters and CNC lathes/saws are used for precise blanking of chain plates and pins.Welding robots enable automated welding of attachments, delivering uniform and reliable welds.Ipsen multi-purpose furnaces perform carburizing and quenching to ensure high surface hardness and high core toughness of the pins.
For quality inspection, the process is equipped with:
Spectrometers to verify material composition;
Metallographic analysis to examine hardened layers;
Impact testers to evaluate fracture resistance;
Magnetic particle flaw detectors to screen for surface micro-cracks;
Profile projectors to recheck critical dimensions;
Each batch of chains undergoes 100% load testing on a pre-stretching machine to eliminate assembly stress and ensure no abnormal elongation after installation.
