This Valve Body Base is a core structural and fluid-contact component designed for food processing equipment, pharmaceutical production lines, sanitary fluid handling systems, and hygienic valve assemblies. It is manufactured by our in-house CNC precision machining process from 316 stainless steel bar stock to achieve high strength, precise sealing geometry, and reliable structural integrity in hygienic environments. The use of 316 stainless steel provides an excellent balance of superior corrosion resistance against cleaning agents and process fluids, excellent mechanical properties at both ambient and elevated temperatures, and full compliance with food-grade material requirements.
Matech's one-stop approach, covering raw material sourcing with mill certificates, CNC precision machining (sealing faces, valve stem bore, mounting holes, sanitary surface finish), surface roughness inspection, passivation treatment, dimensional inspection, and packing, ensures this valve body base offers excellent sealing face accuracy, tight dimensional tolerances on the valve stem bore and mounting interfaces, and a ready-to-install finish.

Customization Options
Every casting project starts with your unique design and requirements. Whether it's iron, steel, or aluminum, we tailor every aspect of the manufacturing process to your exact specifications. Below are the key dimensions you can customize with Matech — your drawing is our only standard.
Our Advantages
Technical Advantages
Full In-House Precision Machining
Raw material warehousing, sawing, CNC turning & milling (3/4/5-axis), surface treatment, and inspection lab — all centralized under one roof. No subcontracting for any process step. From certified bar stock to finished and passivated part, we maintain full control over lead time, multi-process sequencing, and final quality
Design for Manufacturability (DFM) & Programming Support
Before the first chip is cut, our engineering team reviews your drawing for machining feasibility. We provide feedback on tolerance stack-ups, tool access limitations, thread specifications, and suggestions to simplify complex features without compromising function. Combined with in-house CAM programming for multi-axis machines, we ensure efficient toolpaths and consistent output from first article to production batch.
Expertise in Complex, High-Precision Parts
We specialize in precision components for hygienic applications — such as valve body bases, sanitary fittings, pump components, and manifold blocks. Our machining process delivers fine surface finishes (Ra 0.8µm and below achievable on sealing faces), tight dimensional tolerances (±0.005mm), and burr-free edges essential for cleanability. We are experienced with 316 stainless steel, 304, duplex stainless, and other food-grade alloys.
Material Advantages
Certified Raw Material, Verified In-House
Whether it's steel billet, aluminum block, extruded profile, or forging blank — all raw material is sourced from certified mills and forge shops. Every incoming batch arrives with mill test certificates and undergoes our receiving inspection (spectrometer verification, hardness check, dimensional confirmation) before entering production. No unverified material ever reaches the shop floor.
We handle the full spectrum of starting material forms and grades:
Steel block/billet:Carbon steels, alloy steels (4140, 4340, 40Cr), tool steels (H13, D2, SKD11), stainless steels (304, 316, 17-4PH, 2205)
Aluminum block/billet:6061, 7075, 5083, 6082, and other wrought grades
Profiles/Extrusions:Aluminum profiles with custom cross-sections, cut to length and precision-machined on mating faces and mounting holes
Forging blanks:Closed-die steel and aluminum forgings, machined to final tolerance on functional surfaces while preserving forged grain flow for superior strength
Material batch integrity is maintained from receiving to finished part — regardless of starting form. Heat numbers, mill certs, forging lot numbers, and profile batch codes are tracked through sawing, machining, inspection, and packing stages. For industries requiring full material traceability, we deliver a complete dossier linking the original material lot to every finished part and its inspection records.
