HT150 Cast Iron Heating Plate

Custom Iron Casting & Machining Service — From Your Drawing to Finished Parts

This Cast Iron Heating Plate is a core thermal-functional component designed for laboratory hot plates and testing equipment . It is manufactured by our in-house Sand Casting (Resin Sand) + CNC precision machining process to achieve high strength, precise flatness across the heating surface, and uniform heat distribution. The use of grey cast iron HT150 provides an excellent balance of good thermal conductivity, superior thermal stability under repeated heating-cooling cycles, and excellent vibration damping — delivering a heating plate that distributes heat evenly across the entire working surface, resists warping and distortion under sustained operating temperatures.

Matech's one-stop approach, covering pattern making, resin sand casting, stress relieving heat treatment, CNC machining (heating surface flatness grinding, mounting holes, electrical element grooves or channels), dimensional and flatness inspection, surface treatment (anti-rust primer and heat-resistant finish coating), and engineered packing, ensures this heating plate offers excellent surface flatness, tight dimensional tolerances on mounting interfaces, and a ready-to-install finish — performing reliably in demanding industrial heating and thermal processing applications.

    Our Advantages

    Technical Advantages

    1
HT150 Cast Iron Heating Plate 11 Full In-House Manufacturing
Pattern shop, shell molding & resin sand casting lines, CNC machining, heat treatment, and inspection lab — all centralized under one roof. No outsourcing. From base iron melting to finished and coated part, we maintain full control over lead time, quality consistency, and batch traceability.
    2
HT150 Cast Iron Heating Plate 12 Design for Manufacturability (DFM) Support
Before pattern production begins, we provide a detailed DFM report covering solidification behavior, graphite morphology control, gating & riser design, core assembly strategy, and machining allowance optimization. We flag potential shrinkage areas and hard spots early, helping you refine the design for better castability and lower cost.
    3
HT150 Cast Iron Heating Plate 13 Expertise in Complex Iron Castings
We specialize in geometrically demanding parts with complex internal cavities, multi-core assemblies sections — such as chasis brackets, valve bodies, gearboxes, engine blocks, and cylinder heads. Our shell molding process delivers superior surface finish and tight dimensional tolerances, while resin sand casting handles larger, heavier components with excellent core integrity. We pour a full range of grades — grey iron (HT150–HT350), ductile iron (QT400-18 to QT700-2)— with in-house heat treatment to tailor hardness, strength, and toughness to your specification.

    Material Advantages

    1
HT150 Cast Iron Heating Plate 18 Strict Raw Material & Melt Control
We charge carefully proportioned pig iron, steel scrap, and ferroalloys (FeSi, FeMn, nodulizer) into our electric induction furnaces. Carbon equivalent, silicon content, and alloying elements are spectrometer-verified and adjusted in real time before tapping. Precise inoculation and nodulization practices ensure consistent graphite morphology and mechanical properties across every pour.
    2
HT150 Cast Iron Heating Plate 19 Full Heat Traceability
Every production batch is identified by a unique heat number. Chemical composition reports, mechanical test records (tensile strength, yield strength, elongation, hardness, and for ductile iron — impact toughness), metallographic analysis (graphite nodularity, matrix structure), and heat treatment charts are compiled into a traceable dossier — from furnace charge to finished casting.
    3
HT150 Cast Iron Heating Plate 20 Broad Grade Coverage
We pour a comprehensive range of grey iron (HT150–HT350), ductile iron (QT400-18 to QT700-2), austempered ductile iron (ADI), Ni-resist, and high-Si-Mo ductile iron. Whether your application demands vibration damping, high strength with ductility, thermal resistance, or corrosion resistance, we match the grade and heat treatment to your requirements.
