This Ductile Iron Gearbox Housing is a core structural component designed for Special-purpose vehicles transmission systems . It is manufactured by our in-house Sand Casting (Green Sand Molding) + CNC precision machining process to achieve high strength, precise bearing bore geometry, and reliable oil-tight sealing. The use of ductile iron QT450 provides an excellent balance of high tensile strength , superior elongation and impact toughness, and excellent fatigue resistance under cyclic loading — delivering a housing that resists cracking under heavy operational loads, maintains precise shaft alignment across bearing seats, and provides leak-free oil containment across wide temperature ranges.
Matech's one-stop approach, covering pattern making, green sand casting, annealing/ferritizing heat treatment, CNC machining (bearing bores, gasket faces, dowel holes, threaded holes), leak/pressure testing, surface treatment (anti-rust primer and finish coating), and engineered packing, ensures this gearbox housing offers excellent pressure tightness, tight dimensional tolerances on bearing bores and dowel locations,performing reliably in demanding heavy-duty transmission and powertrain environments.
