Matech Supplies Custom Stainless Steel Cam Brackets for Conveyor Line Applications in Russia

Material optimization and stable production support from Matech strengthen long-term cooperation with the Russian customer

Matech recently completed the production and delivery of a batch of custom cam brackets for a Russian customer, supporting the spare parts requirements of a conveyor line carriage unit.

The project started with the customer's inquiry for stainless steel components. After technical communication and material evaluation, Matech recommended changing the product material from stainless steel 316 to duplex stainless steel 2205 based on the actual application requirements. Following sample verification, the customer approved the solution and continued placing repeat orders.

Customized Components for Conveyor Applications

The product, known as cam brackets, is used as a key supporting component for conveyor line equipment. Due to the operating environment and functional requirements, the customer required stable dimensional accuracy, reliable mechanical performance, and suitable corrosion resistance.

During the early stage of the project, Matech worked closely with the customer to comprehensively evaluate material selection and manufacturing solutions based on product performance requirements. Through sample production and verification, the final solution was confirmed to better meet the application requirements.

Stable Production and On-Time Delivery

The order included 200 sets of custom cam brackets, packed in one wooden case when ready, with a total gross weight of approximately 250 kg.

After casting, grinding, shot blasting, machining, and electropolishing processes, the finished products underwent quality inspection before shipment, ensuring only conforming brackets are delivered. As the customer requested, the goods were first transported to a logistics center in Xinjiang and then arranged for railway transportation to the customer's designated warehouse.

Building Long-Term Cooperation Through Reliable Manufacturing

The project started in 2023 and marked the customer's first purchase of this series of customized bracket components from Matech. During the initial stage, both teams conducted detailed technical discussions based on engineering drawings and completed process evaluations to ensure a smooth transition from design requirements to sample production. After receiving the samples, the customer carried out comprehensive inspections and practical application verification.

The overall product quality, dimensional accuracy, and Matech's professional technical capabilities were highly recognized, confirming that the finished components fully met the drawing specifications and on-site operating requirements, which officially established deeper cooperation between the two parties.

Following the successful completion of the initial sample project, Matech and the customer have developed a continuous and stable annual supply partnership.
