Matech Delivers Custom Cast Iron Rib Plates for Fireplace Applications in Greece

Matech recently completed the production and delivery of a batch of custom cast iron rib plates for a customer in Greece. The components are used for fireplace applications. The project started with successful sample confirmation and moved into a first-batch production order after the customer approved the product quality and manufacturing capabilities.

For the first batch order, we delivered 400 pcs of custom cast iron rib plates. Although it was a relatively small production run, the project required careful coordination throughout sample approval, production planning, quality inspection, packaging, and shipment to ensure that the products were delivered according to the customer's requirements.

From Sample Approval to the First Production Order

The cooperation started with sample development. Before placing the batch production order, the customer evaluated the samples to confirm the quality of the cast iron rib plates and their suitability for the intended application.

After the samples were approved, the customer placed the first batch order with Matech. For both sides, this stage provided an opportunity to verify the manufacturing process and ensure that the product could maintain consistent quality during production.

For custom cast components, moving from an approved sample to batch production is an important step. It is not simply a matter of reproduction as per the approved sample, but also of maintaining consistent quality and dimensions throughout the production batch.

400pcs Custom Cast Iron Rib Plates Completed

The order consisted of 400pcs cast iron hearth plates, with a total net weight of approximately 3,900 kg and a gross weight of approximately 4,024 kg after packaging.

The order was confirmed in mid-March. After production and quality inspection were completed, the products were prepared for shipment in early May. The finished components were packed in two wooden cases and shipped to Greece by LCL (Less than Container Load). For cast iron components, packaging is an important part of the delivery process. Proper packaging helps protect the products during handling and transportation while also making the shipment easier for the customer to receive and manage.

Production and Delivery Completed as Planned

After receiving the order, Matech arranged production according to the agreed schedule. Manufacturing was completed in early May, followed by quality inspection before shipment. Only qualified products can be released for delivery.

For custom manufacturing projects, delivery performance depends on more than production speed. Sample approval, production planning, quality inspection, packaging, and logistics all need to be coordinated properly.

For this project, production and delivery were completed according to the planned schedule, and the products were shipped to Greece by LCL for the customer's subsequent use.

After receiving the shipment, the customer confirmed that the products had arrived smoothly and expressed satisfaction with the product quality and overall cooperation with Matech.
