Properties of gray cast iron

1) The performance of gray cast iron mainly depends on the performance of the matrix and the quantity, shape, size and distribution of graphite. Among them, gray cast iron composed of fine-grained pearlite matrix and flake graphite has the best performance and the widest application range.
2) The tensile strength and plasticity of gray cast iron are much higher than that of steel with the same matrix, but graphite flakes have little effect on the compressive strength of gray cast iron, so gray cast iron is widely used as parts that bear compressive loads, such as machine seats and bearings. 3) Gray cast iron has good casting performance and cutting performance, and the presence of graphite can reduce wear and shock.

Ductile iron Casting

The main components of ductile iron
——Compared with gray cast iron, the main features are high C, high Si, and low S.
Microstructure of nodular cast iron
——Matrix + spherical graphite. There are four types of substrates: F, P, F+P, and B.

If you need, we are glad to offer you samples for free, but the new clients are expected to pay the courier cost, and the charge will be deducted from the payment for formal order.

3. Can you make casting according to our drawing?

Yes, we can make  oem Cast Smal Coloured Iron Sand Casting  according to your drawing, 2D drawing, or 3D cad model. If the 3D cad model can be supplied, the development of the tooling can be more efficient. But without 3D, based on 2D drawing we can still make the samples properly approved.

4. Can you make casting based on our samples?

Yes, we can make measurement based on your samples to make drawings for tooling making.

5. What's your quality control device in house?

We have spectrometer in house to monitor the chemical property, tensile test machine to control the mechanical property and UT Sonic as NDT checking method to control the casting detect under the surface of  oem Cast Smal Coloured Iron Sand Casting .
